The DCG405FN is a brushless angle grinder which is powered by DeWalt 18v XR lithium ion batteries. Encased in the same slim and streamlined body as the DCG405, with rubber overmoulding for excellent comfort, grip and control, the DCG405FN is equipped with a flat head gear housing which enables increased access to acute angles and excellent cutting depth. The machine is activated by a side mounted slide switch which has built in restart protection; a No-volt release system resets the switch in the event that the battery becomes depleted or detached while the grinder is in operation, thus ensuring it cannot start up by itself when power is restored. The DCG405FN also has an electronic clutch which helps to safeguard against kickback and disc bursts.
